When to pay: Payment is required upon dropping off your samples
Invoicing: We will provide you with our bank account details when coordinating your appointment window.
(A recepit will be provided with the emailed results).
Please note: Laboratory testing will commence once your sample has been successfully dropped off and payment has been confirmed via bank transfer.

• Confirms that worms are the problem
• Useful monitoring or risk assessment tool on-farm
• Using FECs regularly will also help predict contamination levels on pastures
• Aids timing of treatments

Tests efficacy of anthelmintic (FECRT)
· FEC carried out before AND after treatment
· Timing of FEC post-treatment depends on class of chemical used (see Table above)
· If treatment has been effective, there should be a >95% reduction in FEC
Wormer Resistance / Post-Drench Efficacy Package: £32.00 total (Includes 2 tests).
Includes your pre-drench baseline flock test, plus a secondary follow-up test processed 7–14 days
post-drenching (depending on the chemical group used as shown above).
Timings for Post-Drench Efficacy / Reduction Testing is critical for accurate results
Step 1: Collect and drop off your first sample before administering any wormer.
Step 2: Administer the wormer, noting the exact date and brand used.
Step 3: Collect and drop off your second sample 14 days after worming if equine and per the
table above for other species.

The minimum fee is currently TBC, but is anticipated to be approximately £15 within 10 miles radius of Broadway Worcestershire as of July 2026.
